Tonegallery is a consortium of four well-known german jazz-musicians to realize special musical challenges. This time they work on the music of Lennie Tristano, a true leader in modern jazz.Each tune gets a new arrangement and allows new insights to an almost forgotten style. The combination of tenorsax and guitar provides a new charme, a new lightness and elegance for these complicated and sometimes prudish compositions.The music of Lennie Tristano without the piano?
