GoalofCo-CurricularInventoryfor2017-2018:
• Encourageunitstobolsterstudentengagementefforts,specificallyastheyrelatetoourURM*studentpopulations.Thebetterweunderstandwhatwecurrentlyhaveinplace=thebetterwecanworkontogetherinordertofillthegaps!
• *URMasdefinedbyCSUChancellor’sOfficeincludeAfricanAmerican/Black,AmericanIndian/Alaskanative,andHispanic/Latinostudents.Non-underrepresentedminoritystudentsincludeWhite,non-Hispanic,AsianAmerican*,andnon-residentalienstudents.*AlthoughtheCSUdoesnotincludeAsianAmericanstudentsasaURMduetotheaggregationofdata,weknowthatgraduationratesamonggroupswithinourAsianAmericanstudentpopulationvary-- someofwhichareaslowasorlowerthanourURMgroups.
• Weaskedunitstomeettogethertoreviewtheirprogramgoals,considertheirtargetaudiences(i.e.,areyouservingmajorityURM,NURM,all,etc.?),discusspriorities,anddeterminewhethertheirprogramswereinalignmentwithdivisionalgoalsandourwideruniversityeffortsinclosingtheachievementgap.
