“VIRTUAL” COUPLING-DRAWBAR SYSTEM

Many LKE products can be operated by the so-called “virtual” coupling drawbar system.

Normally, the trailer is pulled using the coupling of the towing trolley over the drawbar of the trailer. To improve the running gear geometry of several linked trailers these conditions are vice-versa in the “virtual“ system, i.e. the coupling of the trailer is connected to the drawbar of the towing vehicle.

This provides an enhanced follow-up movement of the trailer and allows manoeuvring around tight corners.
