Day 01
Meet and greet at Cochin International Airport or railway station and proceed to hotel. After
rest, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Cochin and walk through the erstwhile
colonial alleys and enjoy the stately European bungalows. Visit the main tourist attractions
including Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue,
and Mattancherry Palace/Dutch Palace. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02
After breakfast, proceed to unravel the mystical beauty of Munnar (4 hr drive), tucked away
in the lap of Western Ghats at a height of about 2,500 m above sea level. Enroute visit
Cheeyappara waterfalls, which is surrounded by dense forest and is a great place for
trekking. The waterfalls surges down in seven steps. Next stop is the Blossom Garden, which
is a paradise in itself. Check in at the hotel and free to explore nature by yourself or lounge
in the comfort of your room. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03
After breakfast, proceed for an early sightseeing sojourn with the first stop at Eravikulam
National Park, home to a myriad plants and animals including the rare mountain goats called
NilgiriTahrs. Anamudi, the highest peak in South India is inside this park. If interested, can
walk on foot up to Anamudi. Next stop is the picturesque Mettupetty Dam, located amidst
the Shola forests, an ideal haven for bird watchers and trekkers. On the return trip, visit
Echo Point, View Point and the Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.
Day 04
After breakfast proceed to Thekkady (around 3 hrs) and check in at the hotel by noon. After
refreshment and lunch, proceed to the luscious tea, coffee and cardamom plantations.
Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 05
After breakfast, proceed for a memorable boat ride through the serene waters of Periyar
lake hemmed by thick evergreen forest, then on to Periyar wild life sanctuary, home to
exotic fauna and flora .Herds of elephants coming down to the lake to quench third is a
common sight at Thekkady. Wind up Thekkady sightseeing with a visit to the spice villages.
Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 06
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey House Boat points (around 4 hrs) where you will check
in at the House Boat, enjoying, enjoying the scenic and tranquil backwaters of Kerala. All
meals will be served in the House Boat and anchoring will be at Vembanad Lake. Overnight
stay in the House Boat.
Day 07
Morning, proceed to Thiruvananthapuram the capital of the Indian state of Kerala and
located on the west coast of India. It is an ancient city with traditions dating back to 1000
BCE. First stop is at the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the richest temple in the world.
Then proceed to Zoological Park and Kuthiramalika Palace Museum. Proceed to Kovalam
beach and overnight stay there.
Day 08
Enjoy your day at the Kovalam beaches, also referred as the paradise of the south. Get sun
kissed at the beaches enjoying the wild waves lashing at the rocks or rejuvenate yourself at
one of the many Ayurvedicsalons. It is a day to reflect and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Trivandrum or Cochin International Airport or
Railway Station.
