THE FUNCTION FOLLOWS THE SHAPE.

Metabo dimension circular saws are for straight cuts.

They can be used to cut small and large workpieces

with precision and safely. Non-parallel cuts are no pro-

blem either, as the workpieces are guided ideally on the

dimension sliding table with needle ball bearings. Raw,

untrimmed boards can be handled with ease with a

Metabo dimension circular saw – the hold-down plate

also supplied makes sure of that. Dimension circular

saws provide you with the wide range of functions that

you need for fast working.

materials as well as for plastic and laminated

materials.

For solid wood lengthwise and crosswise to

the fibre, clamping and MDF boards – raw,

coated or veneered – plywood, composite

materials.

Easy to sharpen.

WZ 0°–5° neg.: Alternately bevel-ground tipswith negative chipping angle

For precise, fine cuts in solid wood,

MDF, strips, panels, aluminium, copper,

brass and plastic profiles.

Z=80 = number of teeth

FZ/TZ = flat trapezoid tooth shape

5° neg. = negative chipping angle

2 NL = secondary hole holder

Medium number of teeth: (e.g. Ø 200 – Z=48/Ø 300 – Z=60)For solid wood types – soft wood, hard wood and laminated

wood, longitudinal cuts and cross cuts, chipboards - raw, coated

or veneered - MDF. Can only be used to a limited extent for

non-ferrous, plastic and hollow profiles and plastic.

Advantages: Wide range of use, good cutting results for

longitudinal and cross cuts, cutting quality better than with

low number of teeth

Disadvantage: Higher power consumption than a blade with

low number of teeth, does not achieve the cutting quality of the

high number of teeth

High number of teeth: (e.g. Ø 200 – Z=64/Ø 300 – Z=80)For solid wood types – cross cuts, construction wood,

chip boards - raw, coated or veneered - MDF, aluminium, copper,

brass and plastic profiles, laminated wood, longitudinal and

cross processing.

Advantages: Cuts without tears on the side that the blade cuts

into the workpiece, less tears on the side the blade cuts out

of than with medium number of teeth, especially with coated

or veneered chipboards and MDF panels
