Mamas crying again, her babys nowhere to be found

The world has gone taken her away Daddy went and ran off with some white trash

half his ageLeft me at home to pay for his mistakesMy sister held my hand when that bad boy

broke my heartAint no miles aint no man could ever tear us apart

Now here I stand on roots that deepWe laugh we cry we hurt we bleedWere best of friends and worst enemiesWere all to blame, were all the same,

make no apologiesThis is my family

I cant forget the night that Uncle William passed away

We were forced to recognize his weird diseaseI ran away and ran around with a man twice my ageAint it funny how some things never change

Now here I stand on roots that deepWe laugh we cry we hurt we bleedWere best of friends and worst enemiesWere all to blame, were all the same,

make no apologiesThis is my family

Dont you try to shame my name Cause til the death I will defendYeah their blood runs through my veinsIts where I start and where Ill endNow here I stand on roots that deep

We laugh we cry we hurt we bleedWere best of friends and worst enemiesWere all to blame, were all the same,

make no apologiesThis is my family

  • 3. FightLeAnn Rimes, Darrell Brown, Blair Daly

Hush, hush why dont you want to talk about itBitch, bitch you dont need to sugar coat itI dont want us to ever get to the point where

we cant recoverBreak, break were allowed to have our momentsGo on spell it out aint nothing wrong

with being honestI can take it, go ahead let it out, lets get it

    over and done with

I dont want to fight anymoreCause every minute that we fight is a moment that wecould be lovingLay down with me tonightI dont want to fight

We could start a war with both our tempersTomorrow I bet you anything we wont rememberWho was right, who was wrong, what we said but wellregret what weve lost

I dont want to fight anymoreCause every minute that we fight is a moment that wecould be lovingLay down with me tonightI dont want to fight

Were taking for granted how good that we have itLets laugh til we cry and get back to what mattersOh it matters

I dont want to fight anymoreCause every minute that we fight is a moment that wecould be lovingLay down with me tonightI dont want to fight

I dont need to jet off to no vacation for a weekId be happy to have a happy hourWhen Im tired and Im fried it gets me right

back on my feetAny kind of red or white, a little sister timeIts every smart girls secret

It even freaks me out the way I talk you upYoure like a back flip off a trampolineYou just say my name Im dizzy on my feetWhen my day goes numb and emptyYou know exactly how to give me

Something I can feelSomething I can feel deep downYeah, you know youre striking a nerveThat keeps making this better and better and betterSomething I can feelI never ever need to ask for more noWhat did I do to deserve someone who gives me a loveThat gets better and better and better

  • 6. I Want You With MeLeAnn Rimes, Dean Sheremet, Blair Daly

When Im walking down the streetOn a quiet afternoonOr when I hear our favorite songAnd it gets me in the moodWhen I dont know who I amAnd the world is not my friendWhen I fight my way back up again

Oh, I want you with me every move I makeI want you to see all that I seeThrough the laughter and the madnessAnd every moment in betweenOh, I I want you with me

When I tell my daddy bye For the very last timeOr when I learn a whole new loveIn our babys first cryWhen you can tell Ive done it allBy the lines on my faceWhen I start regretting my mistakes

Oh, I want you with me every move I makeI want you to see all that I seeThrough the laughter and the madnessAnd every moment in betweenOh, II want you with me

If you only knewWhat you do to meWhen you walk awayIf I had chance, gave you a taste Baby youd be beggin me to staySometimes I wonder what itd feel likeBut I got a good man, and Im a damn good wifeAnd I dont wanna feel guiltyBut its getting awfully hard to believe

We aint doin nothing wrongNothing wrong as long as we keep it innocentIm just tryin to have some funBut baby youre drivin me crazyI aint tryin to make you crazyFor me it aint that much funIf we aint doin nothing

Id never ask youWould you leave the one you loveId never tell youI want you so bad it hurtsI like the way you make me feelBaby can we make it realIf we dont make it real

    12. What I Cannot ChangeLeAnn Rimes, Darrell Brown

I know what makes me comfortableI know what makes me tickAnd when I need to get my way I know how to

pour it on thickCream and sugar in my coffeeRight away when I awakeI face the day and pray to God I wont make the

same mistakesOh the rest is out of my hands

I will learn to let go what I cannot changeI will learn to forgive what I cannot changeI will learn to love what I cannot changeBut I will change, I will changeWhatever I, whenever I can

I dont know my fatherOr my mother well enoughIt seems like every time we talk we cant get past the little stuffThe pain is self inflictedI know its not good for my healthBut its easier to please the world than it is to please myself Oh the rest is out of my hands

I will learn to let go what I cannot changeI will learn to forgive what I cannot changeI will learn to love what I cannot changeBut I will change, I will changeWhatever I, whenever I can

Right now I cant care about how everyone else will feel

I have enough hurt of my own to heal

I will learn to let go what I cannot changeI will learn to forgive what I cannot changeI will learn to love what I cannot changeBut I will change, I will changeWhatever I, whenever I can
