• INGO – INGO stands for International Non-Government Organization. Oxfam based in the United Kingdom is a prime example of an INGO.

• RINGO – RINGO stands for Religious International Non-Government Organizations which works for the protection and the sentiments of people related with different religions and faiths.

• QUANGO – QUANGO stands for Quasi-Autonomous Non-Government Organization. It may have some government members too. ISO is an example of a QUANGO type of NGO.
