Royal College of General Practitioners The subject for this year’s essay for the Butterworth gold medal of the Royal College of General Practitioners is " Disease Prevention or Health Promotion". Essays (identified by motto only, with the author’s name and address in a sealed envelope) should not exceed 10,000 words, and should be submitted to the chairman of the awards committee, Royal College of General Practitioners, 14 Princes Gate, London S.W.7, by Aug. 31. The subject for 1971 is " The Family Doctor’s Responsibility to the Individual ". Hearing and Deafness Film Association It is proposed to form a film association to promote and sponsor films for the deaf and partially hearing.
