DIABLO2016 KITE BRIDDLE

KITE BRIDDLE FRONT VIEW KITE DEPOWER SYSTEM

SETUPSHEET

MY DIABLO DOES NOT FLY PROPERLY, HOW CAN I SOLVE THE ISSUE ?

• Check the bridle and kite depower system are correctly setup (look for incorrect line routings and tangles)

• Check that your front lines are symmetrical (same length) from the bar

• Check the symmetry of the kite depower system• Check the symmetry of the bridle• Check the connecting knots between the kite depower

system and the bridle are correctly aligned. Hold in position the connecting knots A and C (fixed by a

pin or held by someone) Take the bottom connecting knots for the front and back

lines and pull on both knots to stretch the whole kite de-power system.

Once stretched, check the position of connecting knot B.

If B: - Is higher in line with A and C knots > No problem, your

kite will fly properly - Is lower than A and C > the behavior of the kite might be

erratic and unpredictable. If this case, the A1 segment needs to be shortened by adding

a loop at the connection between A2, A1 and AB.

Connecting knots A, B and C can therefore be re-aligned and the kite becomes sound again.

If it’s not possible to shorten A1, the kite depower system should be replaced.
