Who is eligible to participate in the Suiting Program? Any woman who is actively job searching can be referred to Dress for Success San Jose. This includes: Women who have a job interview scheduled. Women attending a job fair/networking event/job training or internship program. Women who have already secured employment but are seeking professional clothing.

How can I schedule an appointment for the Suiting Program? Dress for Success San Jose works by Referral only. A client must have a Referral Form in order to schedule an appointment.

What can my client expect in terms of clothing she will receive? Dress for Success San Jose provides 2 clothing appointments for clients: one for her career/interview search, and another for when she secures employment (part-time or full-time).

• First appointment: o One full suit, one blouse, and one pair of shoes and accessories.

Second appointment: o One full Suit or professional separates, one pair of shoes, and accessories.

What days/times are client Suiting Appointments?

• Dress for Success San Jose will contact a client as soon as the referral is received. Once contacted, there is a 24-72 hour turnaround for the initial appointment.

• Dress for Success San Jose is by appointment only. We schedule appointments Monday-Friday.

What happens after my client is seen at Dress for Success? We follow up with clients 1 week and 1 month after their initial appointment. If a client secures

employment during that time, they are eligible to come in for a second appointment. We offer 2 Career Development programs to assist clients in their job search and when they

secure employment. These programs do not require a written referral rather, an RSVP to attend. o Going Places Network:

A 9 week job mentorship program for unemployed or underemployed women. o Professional Women’s Group:

A monthly employment retention and networking meeting for employed women.

Does Dress for Success San Jose provide services to men? Dress for Success San Jose works with women only.
