The challenge was to design a 1,000 sq.ft. environment that extrapolated the language and client experience of a typical Sephora store, but is reconceived as a more temporary, concentrated brand experience in a pop-up design.

Concept: In giving a new identity to the two iconic brands of Sephora and The Master’s together, balance is the key. The concept to design the symbolic blending of the national and international companies is through the swirling logo. Blending modern design of Sephora and traditions of The Master’s, gives con-sumers something that can be perceived as exclusive and accessible. Balancing a prestigious tradition, Sephora brings her design to the course.

The layout of the Sephora Pop-up store is constructed to optimize the viewing of the beauty of the golf course. Elevating the space into two stories maximizes the customers opportunity to shop, while also being able to mingle and view the course.

In the summer of 2011, I studied abroad in Italy. I was able to travel from coast to coast of the country, as well as visit Germany and Switzerland. I took history, Italian and art courses, and attended cooking classes. Inspired by the beautiful culture and scen-ery, I kept a sketch book of a combination of notes, favorite places and mixed media artwork.
