Disclosure of requested information is solicited under the authority of Title 10, United States Codes 3013, Army Regulation 350-20 and is mandatory. Social Security Number is used as the personal identifier number of all personnel under control of the Department of Defense, and is used in connection with updating information in official records and training fillies. Use of Social Security Number provides for objective scoring of Defense language institute tests, as the examinee's Social Security Number is the only identifier so as to maintain confidentiality when reporting test scores to examinees. Failure to provide Social Security Number may result in misidentification and non-credit for tests, and/or inadequate counseling and guidance

** Per MCO 7222.52F these languages with one modality (listening, reading, or speaking) the Marine must also take an OPI test to achieve the requirement for a combination of two modalities (reading and speaking or listening and speaking) in order to be paid FLPB.

INT DLPT STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING
FLPP entitlement certification requires that all qualified military must be tested within the last 12 months using the current version of the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT).
The military uniform is OPTIONAL; however the military member must have a valid military ID card to take the test
If the service member deploys, go on leave, Is released from active service, or assigned temporarily assigned duty (TAD) during the date and time of their assigned test must notify the Military Testing Coordinator, at (910) 451-3092, a MINIMUM of 48 to 24 hours in advance of the assigned test.
