Decibel is the blockchain approach to music and media encryptions and delivery. The digital era has plagued the overall value of music, media, and files alike. The ability to torrent and pirate information has made simply keeping your digital files on your computer unsafe. Leaks are causing the value of data and art alike to decrease in value, demolishing the overall outcome of entertainment and it’s worth. Decibel plans to lead the revolution is music/media revival by integrating the security, scalability, and speed of the blockchain network to establish an entirely new digital era of music/media sales and advertising. The 21st Century has opened the gates to an ever-expanding growth of technology; One of which being cryptocurrencies. This newly birthed technology is the earliest attempt at providing an extremely fast payment protocol decentralized from banks and financial institutions alike. A cryptocurrency is a form of coin or token that can be used as a form of alternative payment method to your conventional credit card or bank account. It operates on a public ledger that displays no personally identifying information and is minted through networks of wallets used as nodes to process and create your transactions. Another form of generating this currency is through mining; a process where people establish computers with extremely powerful CPU and GPU units. These resources are used to process and build the network that allows Bitcoin to run at it’s efficient and constantly progressing speeds. Every computer that provides its resources towards mining adds to a pool of resources that allows for the network to build blocks of approved and verified transactions. These blocks are encrypted and are completely isolated from change by being published to a primary source index that runs the main network. This giant network is called, “The Blockchain”

Cryptocurrency has begun to take on other forms as well. Including being used as a form of processing much more than a payment. The functions of the blockchain and cryptocurrency can be used to design and build frameworks for innovative technology that can be applied to real-world application. Partnering cryptocurrency technology with advanced production algorithms and scripts in turn will develop next level software and hardware applications that can change the way consumers receive and deliver their products to the community.

WHAT IS THE BLOCKCHAIN?

“The Blockchain is an ever-expanding, secure Data Ledger. Designed to infinitely build, execute, and index transactions of any sort in an efficient, transparent, secure manner.” Encryption and Cryptography in their early days were used to securely transact messages, algorithms, and codes to another party safe from prying eyes. Over time it has evolved to be used as a form of ledger accessed through a string of codes visible to the public, but hidden through obfuscation. The Blockchain was developed with intents of developing a secure data ledger that could process and index all forms of information submitted to it while maintaining the transactors privacy. Its design was built upon an algorithm developed that allowed an ever building chain of hashes that act as encryption to a transaction. These hashes are actual transaction information sent through the network containing a certain value, receiver, and sender. These contents are called “Blocks” and are what drive the network forward. Every time a transaction or change is submitted, it is recorded into “Blocks” and send to be processed by a web of supercomputers. Once this hash submitted is cracked, your transaction becomes confirmed and is processed through the network as a permanent addition to the ledger. This change is recording and becomes permanent in the form of an encrypted hash and leads the way for future changes to the Blockchain itself. Instead of going back and altering, the Blockchain constantly moves forward and implements the new submitted changes while maintaining and recording the previous ones. The result is a secure ever-expanding data ledger that can be used as a base to develop applications of revolutionary size. The Blockchain is the definition of innovation and will change the way people receive data and send data in all ways, shapes, and sizes.

DECIBEL


Decibel will feature a Wallet, Exchange, File Player, and Content Creator. The wallet will

initially feature the basic abilities to send and receive your tokens. It will also feature real-time

market integrations including the ability to exchange directly to Tether/Ethereum straight

from your phone/wallet.

In later versions, Decibel will feature your media vault. It will contain all files sent to you attached to your wallet address encrypted with a special algorithm designed by us at Decibel, and these files will be locked to your wallet address. It will be able to be streamed to any device through

bluetooth/usb and will be pegged to a set amount of DBL. Tired of the music file and would

rather have a different song? Sell your secure file via the Decibel Exchange! Old songs can be

purchased from other members for cheaper than the initial release of the file, if allowed so by

the artist. If a creator is in high demand, there won’t be any file sell orders. If the creator is

beginning to die out, the members can choose to sell off their downloads if the demand is there! Sell to late and there will be no demand, allow your community to sell too early and you give your files no chance to rise in value based on

your creative development.

This will create a secondary market based on the creators’ value and equalized by the value

placed on it by the buyers. Files that process and add to the market value of Decibel itself will become eligible for future advertising bonuses, tokens, and network rewards based on market

growth. An artists market can also suffer by uploading low quality content that drives his

volume and attention down, overall diminishing his ability to efficiently grow his market and

impression in Decibel. The higher quality content creates the larger the impression, which gathers larger attention, which in turn generates more trades and growth. This, in turn, expands the value of our coin through an event we have

DECIBEL LOCK


DecibelLock is the partner software used by creators to upload, secure, and sell their media files. DecibelLock will encrypt, upload, and sign all files to the uploading parties wallet. Allowing for immediate purchase via the DecibelMedia

Mobile App. DecibelLock is the Blockchain approach to Copywriting, Publishing, and

Processing your files. This will be a completely free software provided to our media creators to

use upon development ending, it will only require DCBL to sign and copyright your

documents.

The concept behind Decibel Lock is to remove the hefty costs and paperwork required to brand

and label your content as your own. Decibel Lock will remove this grueling process by
