New Website Coming

Beginning Tuesday, March 1, 2016, the Sligo SDA Church will have a new website. One advantage for Primary II is that you can listen to songs to match your memory verses. Go to: www.SligoChurch.org

13th Sabbath Program Primary II will be featured performing a choral reading depicting one of E. G. White’s visions. Mrs. Brenda Flemmer brought this to our class and has been working to prepare all class members to inspire the congregation. This will be a part of the 13th Sabbath Program on the 26th of this month. Parents and guardians, please encourage your child/ren to learn the script so that the pre-sentation will be of a quality honored by God Spiritual Lessons from the Chinese New Year

Few members of the Primary II class have experienced a Chinese New Year celebration, and none have been to a celebration in China, but our guests last month shared their memories of this special Asian holiday. Chaplain and Mrs. Chang, Anna and Andrew, from the Capital Chinese SDA Church joined us during class time. Chaplain Chang spoke of the thousands who come from all over the country to celebrate the New Year, and how it is so necessary for families to hold tight to each other so they won’t get separated.

There will be many, many people in heaven but we won’t have to worry about the large numbers. Jesus has promised to prepare a place for each one of us. Let’s be ready to celebrate with Him one day soon.
