PHYSICAL THERAPIST– (Full time position. 8 am to 4:30 pm week days with rotating weekends). Candidate must hold a current Iowa license and meet continuing education requirements to maintain that license. New graduates of an accredited school of Physical Therapy accepted.
SURGERY MANAGER – (Full time position). Exempt/salaried. The manager has the responsibility, authority and accountability for patient care administration and practice within the peri-operative area; for the development and maintenance of surgical services; for Same Day Surgery and scheduled OP Therapy; for the development of staff to exceed standards. Ensures interdepartmental quality controls and provides for departmental participation in performance improvement within the surgery department and hospital wide. Requirements include: RN with valid nursing license and minimum of 5 years of experience in the peri-operative area, including 3 years in a leadership position. Also requires strong customer service skills and ability to mentor and coach staff. Strongly prefer BSN and strong customer service skills. Must be able to demonstrate professional behaviors that will create a team focused working environment.
MEDICAL UNIT MANAGER - (Full time position.) Exempt/salaried. The manager has the responsibil-ity, authority and accountability for patient care administration and practice within the medical unit. RN Required and BSN strongly preferred. 2 or more years of supervisory and/or management experience required. 3 or more years of hospital RN experience also required. Candidate must poses good commu-nication skills, problem solving skills, and be able to lead staff in a progressive and professional manner. Prior experience with CPOE and EMR strongly preferred.
PARAMEDIC SPECIALIST – (2 positions). Per diem/hourly. Must have EMT or Paramedic certification from the State of Iowa. Experience preferred. Must also be comfortable assisting in the ER department within their scope of practice.
PARAMEDIC SPECIALIST – full-time/hourly. Must have Paramedic certification from the State of Iowa. Experience preferred. Must also be comfortable assisting in the ER department within their scope of prac-tice.
CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETIST. Full time position. Shares call for active surgery and OB Department. Candidate must hold current Iowa CRNA/ARNP license. Must be able to perform general anesthesia, intubation, IV regionals, spinals, lumbar epidural back injections, and MAC anesthesia. 3-5 Years of experience preferred. Trained in general med surgical, obstetrical and specialty surgery support in a rural hospital setting.
CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT – per diem/as needed. Candidate must be a certified nursing assis-tant under the State of Iowa and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Rotating week-ends.
RN/STAFF NURSE – MEDICAL UNIT – (Full-time, rotating day/evening shifts and occasional nights) Candidate must have a current IA license. Prefer Med/Surgical experience.
CLINICAL INFORMATICS SPECIALIST - Full time/hourly position. Candidate’s primary responsibilities will include application support of Health Information System (HIS) in clinical departments and Electronic Health Record System (EHR) in the CCMH Medical Clinic. Requires effective problem-solving skills and effective communication skills. Three or more years of clinical experience with Health Information Systems and/or EHR Systems.
RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST – Full time/hourly. Day shift, although hours will vary. Candidate must have AART certification and State of Iowa permit to practice. CPR certification required within reasonable time after hire. This position will rotate call shifts as scheduled.
HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR – Full time/exempt. Responsible for daily operations and oversight of HR, including compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee/labor relations and staff development. Bachelor’s degree with a Master’s strongly preferred. Previous healthcare experience strongly preferred. PHR/SPHR required. Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities are also required.

Wastewater OperatorDenison Municipal Utilities (DMU) is accepting applica-
tions for a Wastewater Operator position. The individual selected for this position will perform all aspects associated with wastewater treatment plant operations, collection system maintenance/repair, lab experience and equipment operations and maintenance.
Minimum qualifications include the ability to acquire a State of Iowa Grade I Certification in Wastewater Treatment, possess a valid State of Iowa Drivers License and the ability to obtain a CDL. The applicant will be expected to fulfill all requirements of the Wastewater Operators job description, including on-call rotation.
