Our Functional Requirements Approach

•Starts with review of existing materials

•We conduct executive interviews to document the key objectives

•We develop a statement of scope and objectives for validation with key executives

•We then use our requirements database to create ‘straw cuts’ at the requirements for each module. These are validated and revised with project management.

•Requirements sessions are then held for each module and then by tax type to refine and validate the ‘straw cut’ requirements.

•All topics that cannot be handled in within the time constraints of requirements sessions are scheduled for ‘parking lot’ sessions.
