Principal’s Message

Why ReVISION is important?

Without proper and efficient revision, the entire study effort goes

waste, as many a time the students are not able to recollect in the

examination what they studied. In order to be stress-free during exams,

sufficient time must be allocated for revision. The revision should be

systematic and not haphazard.

What is Revision?

According to the Collins English dictionary, revision means ‘to read things again’. This implies that you have read and understood your study material at least once prior to starting revision. What is the Importance of Revision?

The importance of revision is twofold. Firstly, it helps you to remember facts, figures, topics and

methodologies that you have covered some time ago. Secondly, if done correctly it will help increase your

confidence and reduce anxiety – you will be well prepared for your examination.

How Should I revise?

Organise your workplace and study materials. Try to keep your ‘entertainment gadgets’ out of sight

when you are studying.

Make a revision plan; include all the subjects and areas covered by your upcoming exams. Make sure

that your plan is realistic.

Give yourself enough time to revise properly as well as breaks for relaxation. The revision plan needs to be flexible enough to allow for some things taking longer than expected.

Revise subjects and topics that make you feel anxious earlier on in the revision plan. Make notes.

Revising subjects you know well will boost your confidence – but do not put off the difficult areas

until the last minute.

Look After Yourself

Make sure that you get enough sleep and take time off to be with your friends and exercise a little. Rest, relaxation and making sure you stay fit and well are very important elements of the revision programme. How Can I Get Help? - You can talk to your teachers.

KG1B Theme : Community helpers




KG1A Art activities



All the kindergarten children had such an exciting time learning about community helpers this week. They had a chance to sing songs, watch stories and learn more about community helpers in their classes. The highlight of the week was when they each got to dress up as their favourite community helper on Monday! We saw doctors, fire fighters, police, farmers, bakers, air hostesses, mechanics and many more! It is a great opportunity for them to learn more about their community and appreciate everyone’s role. It is such a joy to see them start to dream and make plans for their own bright futures!

Year 1-Assembly We celebrated International Family Day this week. The Year 1 students had a presentation

on the importance of families and that we must love each other, be kind to each other and

that we want to feel safe in our family. Our little ones performed a rhyme, “Families are All

Different”.
