Data Scientist/Analyst
I am currently working with a company in London very well connected in the expanding
industry of Big data/Data Science due to their great success in providing effective solutions
to companies.
They offer the chance to work with a talented team of developers and analysts on a variety

The job requires experience in data science, statistics and analysis and will involve utilising
advanced statistical methods, machine learning and large scale data mining techniques.
Duties and responsibilities range from;
- Creation and maintenance of bespoke client facing and internal reports
- Designing hypothesis tests, overseeing test execution, and evaluating the results
- informing decision-making and solving business problems with data
- using techniques to discover and identify actionable patterns in data
Essential Skills
quantitative and analytical thinking
statistical analysis and theory knowledge
experience with data query languages and large-scale data storage systems
experience as a research scientist
knowledge of data mining algorithms and networks
Experience and knowledge desired;
Social network analytics experience a plus
Creative, innovative thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills
knowledge of some technologies (Matlab, Python, Java, R, Stata, Minitab, SPSS,
SAS)
