As per the Quran committee meeting at Darul Arqm North, we agreed on the following:

• Teaching students how to read the Quran is a priority that might come before memorization (Read Vs. Recite).

• We agree to use the website qsi1.com to teach Al Qaeda Al Nouranya and the rules of Tajweed.

• Students should come out with a moral lesson from the Ayats he/she is learning.

• Teacher must make sure students master the Suras/Ayat of Tah'seen ()التحصين first before proceeding to the curriculum plan

(Tahseen suras ayat include (Al Fat'iha, Al Kursi, Al Mawazat..)

• Listening comes before recitation and students must listen a lot.

• Quran class helps the spiritual growth and immunity for students, therefore a teacher should not tolerate students missing

assignments.

• Extra credit activities should be assigned in case a student is failing.

Extra Quran Ayats (Extra credit):

Students who will be failing recitation or reading must make up their grade through extra credit decided by the teacher. Extra credit

activities would be either memorizing, interpreting, or reading accurately and fluently. If a student fails to do the extra credit by the

due date, a student will fail the class and administration would be informed immediately.
