Paintings of Daga Wennerström Augmented Reality with 1. Darteq met painter Daga Wennerström in the early spring of 2013 at the exhibition in Stockholm, Sweden. Daga was impressed by technologies Darteq is using to enhance objects with augmented reality solutions, and we amazed by her artwork, so logically, we started to collaborate. Her expressionism style was transferred into digital layers, add- ing emotions, storylines and timeline sequences to paintings. Augmented reality empowers her message to viewers, as she describes her style as her ‘paintings are musical, aggressive, lyric, sometimes beautiful and sometimes fright- ening’. This project was not only challenge for Darteq but it also proved that art and technologies can be linked to- gether, because today, technology innovations is also a fundamental force in the development and evolution of art.
