We also interface with three 3rd party rewards providers: BEKEN Dream Points (Augeo), Scorecard, and Visa Extras. If you choose to contract with these providers for reward processing, BEKEN would work with you to transmit relevant transaction and card data on your behalf to provide the different types of reward products for debit and/or credit. If you wish to connect to other rewards vendors, BEKEN will work with you to understand the proposed project and what, if any, additional costs would be required to create an interface. Through Dream Points or a customized Augeo solution, a financial institution has the ability to manage a multitude of customized promotions and campaigns, such as an acquisition campaign where “new” cardholders would receive 1,000 bonus points upon activation and triple points within the first 90 days. Augeo receives, hosts and makes available cardholder data forwarded from your institution but does not maintain indi- vidualized promotional rates. BEKEN and Augeo provide complete resources for the design, implementation, and management of membership benefit programs. These programs add value to card provider and rewards customers based on tracking and changing their purchase behavior. Cardholders redeem their Visa Extras reward points for easily obtainable “everyday” rewards, such as movie tickets, or save their points for higher value “inspirational” rewards such as high-end travel options.

Key Features of Visa Extras

Visa handles, through Visa Extras Program Administrator, program administration, enrollment, customer service, fulfill-ment, and marketing support. With BEKEN supporting file transmission through the client’s single-point connection, participating in Visa Extras is simple and easy.

Eligibility. This points-based rewards program is a core feature of all Visa Business check cards and Visa Business credit cards. At the client’s option, it may be offered with other Visa card products such as Visa consumer check cards, Visa consumer credit cards, and other Visa products.

Enrollment Options. Visa DPS offers two options for cardholder enrollment:

• Mass-enrollment - Enables the client to enroll a group of cardholders in the Visa Extras program. Cardholders then activate their cards through the Visa Extras web site (www.visa.com/extras), a voice response unit (VRU), or cus-tomer service representative (CSR).

• Self-enrollment – Enables individual cardholders to enroll and activate their cards in the program through the Visa Extras web site, a VRU, or CSR. Cardholders’ points start adding up as soon as they make qualifying purchases.

Earning points. Once enrollment is completed, cardholders earn valuable points for every qualifying purchase.

Redemption. Cardholders can redeem points for rewards through the Visa Extras web site, VRU, or CSR, using the Visa Extras Rewards Catalog.

Rewards. Cardholders can choose from a wide range of rewards including movie tickets, retail gift certificates, travel and dining rewards, and more. The client has the option to take Visa Extras beyond the baseline program to create unique value propositions for cardholders by adding rewards options or special promotions.

Customer service. The Visa Extras Program Administrator provides primary customer service to cardholders through the Visa Extras web site, VRU, or CSR.

Fulfillment. The Visa Extras Program Administrator fulfills the rewards, primarily using mail and courier.

Marketing materials. Visa offers a variety of turnkey and customizable marketing materials, as well as national promo-tions, to help the client build awareness, promote cardholder enrollment, and motivate cardholders to increase usage of their Visa cards. These materials include:

Statements – Using Visa Extras program data, the client can work with a statement processor to display reward point bal-ances on cardholders’ monthly account statements. At the client’s option and expense, separate points statements may be sent to cardholders or fulfill points statements monthly or quarterly through the Visa Extras Program Administrator.
