    A Creative Director has the ability to not only design the look and feel of yourproduct but also achieve what you are looking for in the building and maintenance of either new or existing brands across multiple media platforms. I plan andexecute multiple projects simultaneously and deliver unique solutions that willgrow your audience share and ultimately increase sales. My track record of success is evident in the consistent, increased market share of WGN-TV's daily news and programming for every year I was there. We delivered targeted, increased demographic results with the use of custom designed elements for topical and image promotion for news and programming. A consistent on-air look and specifically targeted outside media design and placement made a difference in the overall increased market share in all day parts.

    DESIGN DIRECTOR WGN-TV / CLTV, Chicago 1995 - 2010

    At WGN-TV, as in most broadcasting environments, the Design Director is responsible for the consistent look and image of the station in terms of the interpretation of multiple departmental marketing plans that pertains to the on-air and print promotion for all its programming. I worked with all internal departments (Sales, Production, News, Sports) in the creation and production of unique design solutions in various media such as print, web, show opens, logos and sales collateral that resulted in larger audience share and profits. Performance included being a hands-on designer while actively directing a staff of seven designers andoutside photo shoots as required. Also kept track of project budgets, designer performance and training.

    ASSOCIATE ART DIRECTOR, NEWS WBZ-TV, Boston 1995 - 1995SENIOR DESIGNER TECHNICIAN KYW-TV, Philadelphia 1990 - 1995

    Both of these positions were specifically targeted to newscast graphics production. I created mostly on-air graphics while managing (at WBZ-TV) a staff of threenews designers. I also was involved in other media production such as animatedshow packaging and print support for special show projects that aired outside the newscast where commercial time was sold for increased profit and image for thestations. Training on broadcast graphics equipment was also a primary skill inboth of these positions.

    KXAS-TV, Dallas/Fort Worth 1984 - 1990, KMBC-TV, Kansas City 1981 - 1984Art Director position at each station where I worked with all station departments for print and on-air graphics and in the creation of sales collateral for client presentations.
