Why license content?

• Practical – need to be able to distribute etc whole product, not just code

• Collaboration and innovation – user generated content, machinima etc.

• Clarity – remove any uncertainty as to rights

• Principle – sharing is good (for your players and your pocket)

• Don’t forget to say what you’re licensing
