Old Sunbury Courthouse (c. 1885) - Sunbury Visitor Information CentreBuilt in 1885 for £507/9/6d and serving the community for 103 years before being closed in 1989. Following restoration was re-opened as the home of our Sunbury Visitor Information Centre on 21/2/1993. Aitken’s Gap GaolOriginally built in 1857 near the Calder Highway (known then as The Gap) during the gold rush era. In 1989 the gaol was transported brick by brick to its present location and represents as a tribute to the Police who worked in the area. Situated next to the Visitor Information Centre. 43 Macedon Street, Sunbury.

Sunbury Historic Bluestone Bridges• The Railway Viaduct built in 1859, a large five arch bluestone railway bridge that can be seen from near Rupertswood lake.• The Macedon Street bridge, built in 1859 the first road over rail bridge in Victoria and can be seen from near the gatehouse at Rupertswood.• The twin arch bluestone Jacksons Creek bridge built in 1870 and can be viewed along Macedon Street or from Apex Park.
