    Turns a by-product into a valuable

    commodity.

With 95% oil content improves on-board

    incineration.

And, by cutting waste and recycling run-off

sludge oil, CP 2622 can also ensure that the

maritime industry is kinder to the

    environment.

    Information Technology Solutions

DESCRIPTIONCP 2622 has been specifically designed for the

    shipping industry, Chemiphase International

sludge conditioner can help maritime operators

reclaim the expense of dealing with tank sludge,

    bilge water and slop oil.

CP 2622 consists of a carefully formulated

mixture of demulsifying chemicals that force the

water and solids away from the oil. When

separated the water forms a forms a clear layer

below the oil which can be drained off, leaving

a dry clear oil. By the time the process is

complete, the oil mixture comprises ofapproximately 10% water and 90% oil which can

then be sold as is or processed further using

mechanical oil/water splitters. This will then

create a commodity that most disposal

companies will pay for putting an end to

    expensive sludge tank drainage.

From fishing fleets to cruise liners, this product is

extremely versatile and could be used across

the whole maritime industry. CP 2622 is ideal for

use in cargo or passenger ships which empty

their sludge tanks every 2-3 days.

CP 2622 contains a unique blend of chemicalsthat combine to form the most effective

demulsifier on the market. You can be sure you

will maximize the value of your sludge oil for the

    most cost effective solution.

    How To Use

CP 2622 Ship sludge conditioner is easy to use. In essence sludge conditioner is added to thetank, left for 2-3 days, and then heated to 65-85C, using the standard heating equipment

fitted to the ship. After this, the water can be drained off.

The quantity required to treat the sludge depends on the capacity of the sludge tank or the

volume of the sludge normally disposed of onshore.

Capacity of Sludge Tank Quantity of CP2622 Required (2000 ppm)

    10,000 Litres (2641 US gallons) 20 Litres

    20,000 Litres (5282 US gallons) 40 Litres

    50,000 Litres (13,205 US gallons) 100 Litres

Once added, the product will mix naturally with the incoming sludge, aided by the normal

    motion of the ship.

CP 2622 is oil soluble and will remain in the sludge oil throughout its time in the sludge tank. If

the correct dose of conditioner has been used, this will continue to act on new incoming

sludge as before. If there is no separation of the new incoming sludge then more conditioner

can be added at any stage. This process of heating/ cooling/ draining can be repeated over

a period of several days for maximum efficiency.
