COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is the Capstone course for MBA students. Building on the coursework in the program and
the Strategic Management (MG 698) course, students get the opportunity to apply the various
theories, concepts, tools and techniques in an integrative manner. The primary platform for such
integrative learning are the Capstone simulation and the associated COMPXM assessment
system. In addition, the course assesses the summative learning of students through the Multiple
Field Test, administered by the ETS.
Prerequisites: MK 610, FI 630, MG 622, MG 698

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Apply contemporary strategic models to business settings.
Analyze the competitive environment of business.
Develop a strategic plan for a business.
Predict the results of a strategic plan for a business.
Incorporate ethical issues in decision-making.
Integrate functional knowledge in decision-making.
Demonstrate scholarship and competence through effective oral and written communication.
