New Rules. New thinking required: Life and business in todayʼs exceptionally fast economy is daunting... only if your thinking is stagnant. Information is spreading at an alarming rate and because of this; problems are being solved faster than ever before. Success happens when OPPORTUNITY meets being PREPARED. Never before in the history of the world has there been so much opportunity available to so many. Unfortunately most organizations have no idea what they need to do to fully capitalize on this new and exciting world we now live in, simply because the world is changing at a much faster rate than oneʼs ability to learn. An organisations ability to survive and thrive in todays age is directly proportional to its employees ability to learn and adapt. Peter Drucker said: “We now accept the fact that learning is a life long process of keeping abreast with change and the most pressing task is to teach people how to learn.” Corporate Genius The Ultimate Memory and Speed Learning Keynote Address for Business Professionals. With the help of Daren Denholm (Highest ranked competitor at the World Memory Championships from Africa and the Southern Hemisphere from 2006 - 2011) Overview: When Denholm competed in his first World Memory Championships in 2006, he practiced between 5 and 8 hours a day, months before the competition. He noticed that the top competitors (mainly the Germans and Chinese) trained for no more than 30 - 60 mins a day, but they were achieving much greater results. Over the past 6 years Denholm not only has competed against the best minds in the world, but has made it his primary objective to study how all World Memory Champions achieve extraordinary results and what they do differently when they learn and when they compete. in 1956 Princeton Professor George Miller wrote one of the most cited papers in psychology called: “The magical number of 7 plus or minus 2.” In a nutshell he said that most people cannot hold more than between 5 and 9 “pieces” of information in their working memory before it gets overwritten by new information. Psychologists now say the number is closer to “3 or 4.” At the 2010 World Memory Championships in China, the average competitor remembered “4000” pieces of information in perfect order in just 3 days of learning. An example to illustrate this: If a full time student can remember 1 library of information after a weeks worth of learning, the average international memory competitor would have 1333 libraries with perfect recall. Be prepared to be inspired, encouraged but more importantly EQUIPPED with tangible strategies that will move you from a place of potential to a place of peak performance, unleashing your inner genius. Most presentations will only cover 3 or 4 main points max, simply because people would not be able to remember more than this. Each delegate will walk away knowing 30 of the most powerful tools, tips and techniques used by all world memory champions. (All 30 of these life changing strategies will be in each delegates “semi long term” memory with 100% recall. You will also have 90-100% of what you have learnt; 4 weeks after the session. One simple revision after 4 weeks will cause you to retain the strategies for 6 months or longer.) You wonʼt just learn the strategies, you will actually experience first hand what its like to do a session of learning like you have never experienced before! What you will learn: You will receive bonus course material + CD teaching: (Max 50 per course. R20 per person extra) How to read 100 pages of a business book in 1 hour with 70% retention (1 year to practice) How to remember names and faces How to remember a speech without notes How to retain 80% + of any training course you attend in the future for as long as you want. 4 simple strategies to radically increase your ability to focus and get things done How to increase your ability to be strategic and solve problems How to maximize the power of your brain What the Germans do to continually win the world memory champs while putting in a fraction of the effort What top companies like Google, Apple and Virgin are doing to maximize their employees ability to learn (Ps: They just copied a proven formula responsible for the greatest surge of genius in history; experienced in the 15th century) And more...!
