CORINTH RESIDENTS“RADIOACTIVE WASTE PROPOSAL”

Supervisor Lucia and the Town Board are considering a proposalfrom CP Rail to truck radioactive waste from Knolls Atomic Labin Niskayuna to the Depot site off Hamilton Avenue. The radioac-tive waste would be loaded at the Depot site, and then head to adestination site in Texas. If approved by the Town Board, thiswould set a precedent to other toxic waste companies thatCorinth is open for business. The Town Board is accepting lettersfrom the public. I URGE everyone to send a letter opposing thisproposal and get your voice on the record. If you are unable towrite or send a letter and would like to oppose this proposal, callme and I will get a form letter to you.
