Born in Italy in 1980, after achieving a BMus (guitar performance)   at the Conservatory "C. Pollini " of Padova, with Giovanni Grano , he studied with Giulio Tampalini at the “Accademia della Chitarra di Brescia" and with Angelo Gilardino at the Accademia "F. A. Vallotti "in Vercelli, while attending masterclasses and workshops with guitarists, composers and musicologists, including Claudio Ambrosini,   Luigi Biscaldi, Giacomo Baroffio, José Luis del Puerto,. Awarded in some national and international competitions, he has performed in important festivals in Italy including the International Festival "Brescia Chitarra", "Chitarre d’autunno - Brescia," "Ars Citarae Novae - Rome ", "MusicaMuseo - Vercelli". In 2008 he performed live on Sky- 830 TV channel, during of the awarding ceremony of the "Premio Argos Hippium".

Instrumentalism was always supported with a continuos musicological research: along with BMus in guitar, he achieved a BMus in Musicology at the Conservatory of Padova, and then he obtained, "cum laude", a Master Degree in "Music Tecnologies”(major “Music publishing”) with a multimedia thesis about guitar repertoire of early XX century, reviewed in the December 2008 by the Italian Magazine ‘Suonare News’. In 2011 Alessio has been in Australia, where he studied Composition and Orchestration in a postgraduate course in Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. As musicologist, he has worked on important projects such as creating the bibliographic fund “Cesare Pollini ", introduced in 2002 at the Congress of the Italian Society of Musicology, and transcriptions of premiered works such as La Clemenza di Tito by Baldassare Galuppi.  

In 2010 he published the musicology essay 'Le romanze da salotto di Michele Bellucci. Le edizioni a stampa e i manoscritti autografi'. He was also relator in workshops about the history of music therapy. In 2011 he started a new collaboration with the Italian soprano Elisa Ramon, enstablishing the "Operaperta Duo". Alessio Olivieri plays guitar made by Luis Arban (1975) and Giuseppe Guagliardo (2010). He is artistic director of Cultural Association "Operaperta" in Manfredonia (FG- Italy). He's guitar teacher in public middle and high schools and in private institutes.

Graduated in 2006 at the Conservatory "C. Pollini "of Padua, with the soprano Rosanna Lippi, she studied with Francesca Scaini, Sherman Lowe and Daniela Battaglia Damiani, while she attended masterclasses with Sara Mingardo (baroque singing) and Nando Bertaggia (acting and diction). Among his major operatic experiences: Kaffeekantate by J. S. Bach, La Serva Padrona by G. B. P e r g o l e s i , B a s t i e n u n d B a s t i e n n e a n d D e r Schauspieldirektor by W. A. Mozart. In the summer of 2004 she stood out at the XXII “International Course of vocal art and stage” of S. Margherita Ligure (Genova - Italy), where she was awarded as the "most promising young talent" by the "Lions International". She has performed in many theatres and major seasons up to debut in 2009 at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, with the Der Schauspieldirektor by W. A. Mozart (in the role of Mademoiselle Silberklang).

Since 2006 she has been permanent member of the project Padovensemble, a group specializing in opera and instrumental performances in reduced ensembles (eight instrumentalists and singers) of the most popular operas of the eighteenth-century repertoire. In the double role of soloist and head of the vocal group, she has performed consistently in many theatres and major seasons. In 2010 she released a CD with the World Premier Recording of the Chamber Romances for soprano and piano by the Italian composer Michele Bellucci (1849-1944). In 2011 she started a new collaboration with the Italian guitarist Alessio Olivieri, enstablishing the "Operaperta Duo".

Artistic carrer was always supported with musicological and teaching studies:in 2008 she graduated in "Disciplines of art, music and entertainment" at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Padua, with the thesis "The air K.295a of W . A. Mozart: genesis and musical analysis "(supervisor Prof. Sergio Durante) and in 2009 at the Conservatory "C. Pollini" of Padua, she obteined a Master Degree in Music Teaching, with highest honors. She is voice teacher in public middle school and in private institutes.
