Connect, Collaborate, Cultivate

1. Continue to be lead learners and offer our members a myriad of professional development opportunities

2. Continue to build relationships with aspiring administrators through expanding Student Charters at our local universities and partnering with Student Charter members

3. Apply an equity and diversity lens in all that we do as administrators

4. Work collaboratively to increase our membership involvement across the Region

5. Connect with our local legislators to ensure everyday advocacy

Region XV Goals

1. Be the involved, lead learner for Region XV

2. Provide support and guidance to the Board and Charter Leadership as they work to achieve their goals

3. Work to involve all charters in Region XV activities

President - Dominic DiGrazia

1. Provide support and encouragement to current President and President-Elect of Region XV, as well as all region members

2. Form and guide a nominating committee for the 15-16 region board that encourages the feedback and voice of charter members throughout the region

3. Provide support and assistance to new charter and region officers

Past President – Jennifer Root

1. Support the Region XV President and assist in the implementation of our region goals.

2. Increase the participation of all Charters in the annual awards process.

3. Maximize scholarship awareness and opportunities for all Region XV members.

President-Elect – Maria Thompson

1. Work collaboratively with our Region XV Membership Recruiter to increase membership across our Charters.

2. Motivate and assist Charter Membership Chairs in recruiting new members, while communicating the benefits of membership, as well as updating information on existing membership.

3. Apply an Equity and Diversity lens to our Region Recruitment efforts, to be in alignment with State ACSA efforts.

V.P. Membership – Mary Castner

1. Continue to cultivate charter participation in all Region events.

2. Assure Region events are well-planned, organized and advertised, leveraging electronic and social media resources.

3. Support and assist in the organization and marketing of the Women's Leadership Network events and the Region XV Conference.

V.P. Programs – Becky Summers

1. Increase the number of participants for Legislative Action Day (with particular focus on Supt/Cabinet representation).

2. Ensure all CA AM/SN in Region XV participate in the endorsement process.

3. Find a new venue for Region XV LAD dinner and have it attended by an elected official from Region XV.

Large - Robert Allard

1. Increase our use of social media (Facebook and Twitter) as a Region

2. Increase EDCAL exposure of our Region events and partners

3. Creating a Region website that is even more “user friendly” including the use of surveys and feedback opportunities

Director of Public Relations – Tim Barker

1. Develop and maintain an effective common communication network for all committee chairpersons.

2. Provide guidance and on-going assistance to Committee Chairpersons to support their success in providing leadership to their committee.

3. Serve as the liaison between the State and Region by attending all state meetings and providing a summary of meetings to all committee chairpersons and to the ACSA Region XV Board.

Director of Committee Chairs – Jennifer (Gates) Jackson

1. Communicate region and state events, opportunities, and expectations for each charter

2. Support each charter in achieving its goals and in being an active part of Region XV.

Director of Charter Presidents – Mark Anderson

1. Strengthen relationship between ACSA Region XV and at least two universities (Cal Poly Pomona, and possibly University of La Verne) to provide ACSA information and membership to their graduate students of educational leadership.

2. Host one event for university students focused on networking and job seeking skills.

3. Support the Women's Leadership Network by assisting with event planning.

Member at Large – Student Membership, WLN - Laura Solis

1.Building and sustaining relationships with partnering organizations, such as CALSA and CAAASA.

2.Support the Equity committee legislative initiatives that rally support for the low SES and underrepresented populations.

3.Professional Development – Provide learning opportunities that enhance cultural awareness.

Member at Large – Equity & Diversity - Donna Hunter

1. At November ASCA Conference; Present AV Charter WLN format

2. Host Region XV WLN using AV Charter WLN format

3. Encourage 3-5 Charters to start their own WLN series and support their efforts

Member at Large – WLN, Region XV Conference - Stacy Bryant

1. Continue to maintain positive relations with current funding partners and seek new funding sources for projects and programs serving ACSA members in Region XV.

2. Continue to provide Region XV with broad based opportunities for financial support and partnerships with organizations and business in order to meet Region Goals.

3. Provide opportunities for Region XV Business and Organizational partners to share their talents and products with members.

Member at Large– Business Partnerships; Alice Petrossian

1. Represent the perspective of Region XV at State Board of Directors’ meetings.

2. Dialogue with Region XV regarding the political, legislative, and educational background for issues being considered by the State Board of Directors.

3. Keep Region XV informed of State Board of Directors' decisions.

State Representative – Sue Kaiser

1. Support regular and open communication with the ACSA Region XV Board, Region leadership, and members 

2. Provide support and guidance to the Board for successful programs and to achieve their goals

3. Advise Region President and Board on matters related to ACSA governance and program

Executive Director- Mike Seaton

1. Support and advise Region XV Executive Board and leadership on budget matters.

2. Work with Board members reporting and tracking donations, including monetary and in-kind.

3. Assist Region committee chairs in necessary steps for reimbursement documentation.

4. Continue successful administration of charter rebates.
