Conjugate -AR/-ER/-IR Verbs Spanish Battleship

• Players play in pairs.
• Each player will need a copy of the game board.
• Print and laminate for reuse (or place in page protectors )enough copies for
your class.
• Give each player a copy of the game board and explain the directions
and/or hand out the directions sheets to groups.
Game Directions • Players place all five of their ships onto grid A by marking off the corresponding number of
squares for each ship.
• On a turn, the player will choose a subject pronoun and verb and conjugate the verb. • The opponent will locate the correct square on his/her grid. • If the player hits one of his/her opponent’s ships, s/he will say “hit” and the player will take
another turn. if not, they will say “miss” and it will be their turn. • Players keep track of the locations of their opponent’s ships on grid B. • When a player sees that all of the spaces for one of his/her ships has been hit, s/he should
say “The carrier/destroyer etc. has been sunk”.
• The first player to sink all of their opponent’s ships is the winner.
