INTRODUCTION
I.T. Associates is a fully integrated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) company. The
company has offices in Harare, Kwekwe and Gaborone in Botswana. I.T. Associates provides
comprehensive computer and network services as well as hardware, software, peripherals and
consumable sales.
I.T. Associates endeavours to provide businesses, individual computer users and government with
unparalleled computers systems services and sales. Our sales and technical consultants are fully
equipped to provide tailor-made solutions and services. The company engages in strategic
partnerships with leading vendors and software developers around the world. This greatly reduces
the turnaround time for our customers.

regardless of the magnitude of the project.

I.T. Associates offers all computer users (individuals, businesses and government) quick response,
reliable source of technical support for their computer systems.
Service structures are as follows:-
Hourly (Technical aid) – The less traditional form of short term assignment to help a customer
rectify computer system fault, including emergency and non-emergency technical assistance.
Contract (Specific Skills) – The more traditional form of consulting including regular computer
systems maintenance and administration, hardware and software upgrades and network
administration.
Projects (Specific Skill) – This includes services such as consulting on major purchases, systems and
network installations and testing, disaster recovery and data migration.

ORGANOGRAM
I.T. Associates is headed by a Managing Consultant. Mr. MacDonald Chidavaenzi is the current
substantive Managing Consultant and is complimented by a Sales Consultant, Finance and
Administration Consultant, Technical Consultant, three Freelance Sales Representatives, and two
Technicians. As the customer base of I.T. Associates grows, so will the staff compliment. All the
individuals above are highly qualified and have vast experience in their areas of expertise.
MacDonald has over fifteen (15) years’ experience in the Information and Communication
Technology industry. His career started at IBM Zimbabwe where he started as a graduate trainee
and rose to become a Product Support Specialist (1995 – 1999). MacDonald then migrated to
Botswana where he worked for Southern Business Solutions (Systems Engineer, 1999 -2001) and
Woolworths (Systems Manager for Botswana, Namibia and Swaziland, 2001 – 2008). In 2009,
MacDonald founded I.T. Associates in Botswana and later opened I.T. Associates in Zimbabwe in
2011.
The currently Sales Director for the company is Mr. Innocent Magaya. Innocent is a seasoned
marketer with a lot of experience in the ICT sector. He is a holder of a diploma in marketing and a
certificate in business administration. Innocent is the driving force for the Sales team at I.T.
Associates and his wealthy of experience will see the company grow to be an Information and
Communication Technology partner of choice for businesses in Zimbabwe as well as the
Government of Zimbabwe.
