Intermediate - C 3 - 5 yearsChildren work more challenging versions of landings, springs, locomotion, statics, and rotations. For children who are ready to refine their movement into basic gymnastic skills. Mastery at any level depends upon repetition and corrected practice. Preschool levels 3+.

High School Gymnastics - CA basic competitive program which allows high school age girls to compete and represent their school. Four hour commitment. Must register for both days.

t&t1 - CGymnastics, dance, cheerleading, circus arts, and martial arts are all areas which incorporate gymnastic movements. Our coaching staff, along with our spring floor, in and out of ground trampolines, tumble trak, power tumbling strip, and foam pit, will help students develop front and back tumbling skills, aerials and more.

Interclub - CThis is a program designed to improve fitness and body positions required for the development of new skills. Athletes will then use these skills in routines with opportunities to perform in front of adjudicators at Island competitions. Must register in both days. Registration and payment are done through Chimo.

t&t2 - CThis class is for older, more experienced students. Equipment will be utilized to refine and develop the skills learned in T & T1. Prerequisite T & T1 and/or permission of the Program Director.

School field trips - CA marvelous opportunity to allow your class to explore and learn about the wonderful world of gymnastics. Register with Chimo & pay at Comox Community Centre.

1 lesson - $6.00/student2 lessons - $5.00/student4 lessons - $4.00/student

Parkour - C8-12 & 13-17 years Turning everyday objects into a resource for fun and fitness. Certified instructors will safely teach the fundamentals of this creative sport using flips, rotations, safety falls, and other means of locomotion. No size, skill, or experience required.

Home SchoolThese classes will follow the CanGym programming. Depending on registration numbers participants will be divided by age and skill level whenever possible.

Refund Policies

Registration Policies

Classes cancelled by Comox Recreation:• Full or pro-rated refund as appropriate.

Customer withdrawal from Comox Recreation programs:• Full or pro-rated refund as appropriate.• Withdrawal five or more days prior to program start date; full refund,

no penalty.• Less than five days prior to program start date; full refund, $5 + GST

administration fee charged per program.• After a program has begun, pro-rated refund based on the date

Comox Recreation receives notification of withdrawal; $5 + GST administration fee charged per program.

• Full or pro-rated refund as appropriate with a doctor’s note; no penalty.

• No refunds issued after a program has ended.• Please allow 2 weeks for cheque refunds to be processed.• 10 Visit Paper Punch Passes: Treat like cash. Cards are not replaceable

if lost, stolen or destroyed.

fitness Pass Policies and Hold

• Fees paid in full at time of purchase. • Fitness passes are not transferable.• Annual passes may be suspended once during the term of pass

(minimum of one month/maximum of three months for medical reasons with a doctor’s note or if pass holder leaves town.)

• Three and six month passes suspended for medical reasons with a doctor’s note.

• Pass suspensions must be made in person.

• Fees are paid in full at the time of registration by cash, cheque, Debit, Visa, MasterCard or Quality Foods Rec Bucks.

• Registrations taken in person, by phone and online. • Comox Recreation reserves the right to make cancellations or

changes as necessary.• GST charged to all programs with participants 14 years and older.• NSF cheque charge is $15 + GST.

Program titles that end with “- C” are offered by independent contractors. Registration and refund policies are at their discretion. Refunds subject to $11 + GST administration fee per registration.
