Community Engage Brief
• “We need to engage with our communities and get their feedback on Budget Allocations”
• a) Simple;• b) Fun; • c) Robust;• d) Image rather than text rich;• e) And … no numbers !!!
Traditional Budget Interfaces … A lot of Numbers
Budgeting = Resource Allocation
• We needed an instantly recognizable symbol for a resource and a fun process where the user could allocate these resources.
• The sea turtle – a sought after food source in the traditional
aboriginal way of life and an element of EARC logo was the obvious choice.
