An Act to amend the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005.

BEit enactedby Parliamentin the Fifty-seventhYearof the Republicof Indiaasfollows:-

I. This Act may be called the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights (Amendment) Short title.Act., 2006.

Amendmentof section4of Act4 of2006.

2. In the Commissionsfor Protect~onof Child Rights Act, 2005, in the proviso tosection4, forthewords"Ministerin-chargeof theMinistryofHwnan ResourceDevelopment",the words "Minister in-chargeof the Ministry or the Department of Women and ChildDevelopment" shall be substituted. .
