Observando-se a amostra de consumo de combustível das transportadoras por meio deum boxplot verifica-se a existência de 1 outlier: Empresa Anfrolanda com um consumo de0,677704 litros/km (aprox. 1,5 km/l). Entretanto, tecnicamente alem do resultadoinconsistente da Anfrolanda observa-se também como inconsistente o resultado daEmpresa União. Um denota um consumo muito abaixo do esperado. Enquanto que o

outro exatamente o contrário. Eliminando-se as 2 observações, obtem-se novos valores egráficos a seguir.
