The Globalization Pathway
• This is a way of ensuring that you will complete your General Education requirements by taking courses
that embody the core values of a liberal education.
• Work with committed faculty to intentionally pursue multidisciplinary GE courses that increase your
knowledge and equip you with transferable skills upon graduation.
• You will gain a competitive edge that will make you more marketable to future employers.
• Choose from a variety of courses and participate in exclusive events.
• Receive a certificate of completion!
Globalization:
• Explore the increasing interconnectedness
of people, places and ideas around the world.
• Define globalization and its key concepts.
• Acquire knowledge to discuss political,
economic, socio-cultural subjects related
to globalization.
• Analyze the impact and affects of
globalization on a local scale.
How to complete the pathway?
9 units are required to complete the pathway and
upper division GE requirements. One course (3 units)
will be from area B.5 (unless already satisfied).
The other 2 courses (6 units) will be selected from
the GE areas C.3, D.5, E. (One course having an *)
In collaboration with your graduation specialist, using
your approved list (below), your 2 years graduation
plan will be developed based on your individual TDA
and remaining GE
requirements.
