Pretreatment for Aluminum Befz MetChem Horsham, Pa.

Environmentally-friendly, high-per- formance pretreatments for aluminum extrusions, Permatreat XNC and Per- matreat XLC, eliminate or greatly re- duce chromium in pretreatment pro- cesses. Permatreat XNC, a conventionally reactive nonchromium process, provides painted corrosion re- sistance and paint adhesion properties equal to chromium-based processes. It can be applied in most conventional five-stage dip or spray washer systems, without system modifications. Per- matreat XLC, a chromate-phosphate
