Access Care Plus NJ
For group or individual support as you manage the successes and challenges
of high school life. To provide free mental health services to Tenafly students
in a comfortable, open, safe environment with highly qualified staff who
have expertise in working with youth and their families. Services include
individual counseling, groups, family engagement, community outreach,

Art Club
The Art Club provides an opportunity for artistically inclined students to
create and further develop their talents. We will participate in local and
national art contests, work on beautifying the school, and make new friends
that share our common love of art.

Challenger Art Club
The Challenger Art Club brings THS students together with young special
needs students to create art and make friends. THS students design
seasonal art projects and help students through the creative process.

To provide an opportunity for instrumentalists and singers to perform in
small ensembles. The main event is the annual Chamber Music Society of

Chemistry Club
To foster interest and excitement about chemistry and its related fields, like
chemical engineering, biochemistry and organic chemistry, through
presentations of current chemistry research and innovations which affect

design and perform chemical demonstrations.

Culinary Club
Culinary Club aims to build a community of students who share a common
interest in the culinary arts, the joy of cooking, baking, and eating together
with friends while sharing their family customs and traditional foods. The
club will fundraise by holding a variety of bake sales, food drives, etc. for
charity throughout the year to assist less fortunate families in Bergen
County.

The Current Events Club seeks to inform and educate students about local,

Unlimited (GCU)
GCU is a student-led humanitarian organization that aims to support global

Physics Club
The mission of the Physics Club is to allow students to explore Physics and its
applications such as Engineering. The Physics Club members also have the
opportunity to prepare for and participate in physics and engineering events
such as the TEAMS engineering and science competition at the 9-10th grade
level and the 11-12th grade level. In preparation for the competition, the
Physics Club students research and study the themes of each year such as
engineering healthier lives, clean energy, etc. Presentations are made on
these issues. The competition involves three components: an essay, a test
and a hands on engineering design and construction component.

Science Olympiad
The Science Olympiad is an organization devoted to improving the quality of
science education, increasing student motivation in science and recognizing
outstanding student achievement. These goals are accomplished through
classroom activities, research, and the encouragement of state and national
tournaments. The Science Olympiad tournaments are rigorous academic
competitions that consist of a series of events which students prepare for
during the year. These events are spread out between the various science
disciplines of biology, earth science, chemistry, physics, and technology.
This year's goals are for student's to engage in hands on science skills and
learn more about certain topics that they may not have seen in their regular
science curriculum. This competition is an opportunity for students to show
off any type of science skill they may have. This year we are striving to place
higher in the ranks than last year but mostly make new friendships and
improve scientific knowledge that may help in any future endeavors.

Stand Up to Cancer
Awareness is the first step for anything such as treatments and donations to
happen. Our club has mission to raise awareness in Tenafly High School and
to raise funds to accelerate the pace of translational cancer research that
can get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives now. Our school
activities will raise awareness in THS student body and help them to be
engaged in cancer awareness in daily life.

Star Club
Our club is intended to help children in need in either hospitals or fosters
homes. We will visit them as much as possible, where we will do activities
like reading, arts and crafts, and music. We will do fundraisers, bake sales,
and other activities to raise money for these events, and supplies that they
may need. We will meet whenever there is an upcoming event to get
everyone prepared (about once a month) and these meeting with happen
during lunch.

Tech Crew
Tech Crew provides the scenery, lighting and sound for our Fall Play and
Spring Musical each year. If you didn’t see get to see these shows, you are
missing out! In addition, we provide technical support for every event held in
the auditorium, such as the Tux Show, Fashion Show, etc. We meet 3 times
most weeks, but the schedule varies. See the call board by the auditorium
for details.

The TED-Ed Club provides a thought-provoking environment for students to
improve their public speaking and presentation skills while sharing a talk•

The Tenafly High School Junior States of America is a non-partisan
organization devoted to balanced discussion. We provide a forum in which

Theatre Club
Theatre Club will present the annual One Act Play Festival at THS. Entirely
produced, directed, performed and sometimes even written by Tenafly
students, this year we anticipate again have a large number of participants
(over 60) involved in the production. Theatre club does not meet as a whole
until the spring. Watch for details about how to get involved starting in late
February.

THS Pen Pals Club
Tenafly High School Pen Pals club will give Tenafly students a chance to
connect and share stories and aspirations with students living in Nigeria,
Africa. The students from Tenafly will be able to communicate with the
students from Zainab Memorial School, a co-ed school primarily made up of
impoverished Christian and Muslim children. Having these kids study
together at an early age will help promote nonviolence and
nondiscriminatory values. In addition, the club will hold fundraisers in the
form of bake sales, and food and gift drives in order to help supply the
students that are less fortunate. We intend to help students get a better
understanding of their surroundings and their global community by creating
bonds with students that they would not have the privilege of meeting
outside of this club.

Our mission is to assist all students with their homework and prep them for
their classes. We have a learning environment in which students are able to
learn peacefully with upper classmen. We also give them advice on school

Volleyball Club
The Volleyball Club gives students the opportunity to challenge themselves

The Yoga Club's mission is to bring balance to your life. We will get fit and
