Water Storage CalorifiersStrebel offers a wide range of hot water storage vessels to suit different customer requirements. The range is manufactured from different materials, with or without immersion heaters or anode protection, either utilising internal coils or tank-in-tank technology. There are three ranges to choose from.

S-DW-I Double Walled with Immersion Stainless steel ‘tank-in-tank’ vessels featuring the technical advantages of double walled system technology in 5 sizes with total capacity volume between 122 and 570 litres. These are tanks supplied with an immersion heater as standard (S-DW-I) or, on request, without (S-DW).

S-HW-S Stainless Steel Single Coil with Immersion Manufactured in high grade stainless steel with a fined single coil for indirect heat transfer in five sizes from 215 litres to 500 litres. These tanks can be supplied with or without an immersion heater and operate without the need for an unvented kit. Twin coil units (S-HW-T) are available on request. Upon special request vessels with 1000,1500 and 2000 litre volumes are also available.

ATI–CC Enamel Lined Single Coil with Anode Trusted and reliable double layer vitreous enamel coated tanks offering 300, 400 and 500 litre volume. These robust and well proven tanks are supplied with a sacrificial magnesium anode.

S-DW-I Double Walled

S-DW-I Double Walled with ImmersionThe S-DW-I range of calorifiers is a ‘tank-in-tank’ style water storage tank. Hot water production takes place by the exchange of heat from the external, or primary, tank to the internal, or secondary tank, over the entire surface area. The heat source for the primary tank is heated by an external energy source – such as a Strebel S-CB range boiler.

Available in five sizes offering DHW storage of 92,146, 193, 286 and 462 litres the S-DW-I is manufactured from high grade stainless steel with a corrugated internal tank offering anti-scaling and anti-legionella benefit due to the totally uniform DHW storage temperature. The unit is fitted with an immersion heater as standard with a thermometer, dual safety and control thermostat and is fully factory wired. The S-DW-I range is thermally insulated at point of manufacture by direct mould-injection with CFC and HCFC-free PU material of 40mm thickness.

Offering up to 1241 litres per hour at continuous output of 600C with a user friendly footprint the S-DW-I is an easy to install, user friendly and maintenance free solution for multiple commercial applications where on-demand hot water is required – such as leisure centres, hospitals, hotels and schools.

The units come as standard in vertical format but are also available, on special request, on the horizontal as well as having wall mountable kits up to the 150 litre size.

S-HW-SStainless Steel

S-HW-S Stainless Steel Single Coil with ImmersionThe S-HW-S range of calorifiers is a single coil indirect style water storage tank. Hot water production takes places by the exchange of heat from the finned inner coil into the primary water volume. The heat source for the coil is from an external energy source – such as a Strebel S-CB range boiler. The S-HW-S features a self-sustaining water replenishment system based on the Venturi effect which removes the need to install a traditional expansion vessel.

Available in five sizes offering DHW storage of 215,255,305,400 and 500 litres the S-HW-S is manufactured from high grade stainless steel and a high-performance finned coil with up to one square metre of surface area. The unit is fitted with an immersion heater as standard with a thermometer, pressure and temperature relief vale and is fully factory wired. The S-HW-S range is thermally insulated at point of manufacture with a Plastisol outer casing with 60mm thickness.

Offering up to 465 litres per hour at continuous output of 600C with a user friendly footprint the S-HW-S is an easy to install, user friendly and maintenance free solution for multiple commercial applications where on-demand hot water is required – such as leisure centres, hospitals, hotels and schools.

The units come as standard in vertical format but are also available, on special request, on the horizontal and with twin coil (S-HW-T). On request vessels with storage of 1000,1500 and 2000 litres are also available.

ATI-CCEnamel Lined

ATI-CC Enamel Lined Single Coil with AnodeThe ATI-CC range of calorifiers is a single coil indirect style water storage tank. Hot water production takes places by the exchange of heat from the glass lined heating coil into the primary water volume. The heat source for the coil is from an external energy source – such as a Strebel S-CB range boiler.

Available in three sizes offering DHW storage of 295, 390 and 488 litres the ATI-CC features an internal surface lining of a vitreous enamel coating that penetrates the metal preventing oxidation and chemical corrosion of the unit.

This coating is carried out during unit manufacturing at a temperature of 860ºC thus providing an extremely resilient barrier to degradation.

The unit is fitted with a sacrificial anode as standard with a thermometer, pressure and temperature relief vale and is fully factory wired.

Offering up to 1050 litres per hour at continuous output of 600C with a user friendly footprint the ATI-CC is an easy to install, user friendly and maintenance free solution for commercial applications where on-demand hot water is required. The units come as standard in vertical format.

Hot Water Calorifiers

Services and WarrantyInstallation, Service and Spares All calorifiers should be installed in accordance with the relevant installation instructions by experienced engineers. Upon request Strebel Service engineers can verify calorifier installation at time of boiler commissioning but will not carry out wiring, or make changes to incorrect wiring, between boiler and vessel as this is the responsibility of the installer.

Availability of Spares to the right specification at the right time is essential to the successful operation of any plant room item. At our central Warehouse facility we stock a wide range of commonly used parts which can be dispatched directly to site for the following day assuming the order is received the morning before.

Warranty All Strebel calorifiers are offered with the standard 2-year warranty on the vessel with 1 year on the electrical components. The date of the warranty will be considered to run from the time the vessel in dispatched from the warehouse.
