In its latest development of CLASS, the tool of choice for
warehouse modelling and simulation, Cirrus Logistics has added
CLASS Visualiser as a new option to compliment the solution.
Visualiser is a dynamic tool that enables you to rapidly create
an accurate model of your site/s and connect them to your WMS, ERP
or legacy host system for real-time views in both 2D and 3D. The
live views will provide updates on operator movements, slotting
performance and congestion.
The solution interacts with the operator’s data capture method,
whether it is through a voice-directed work solution or RF scanning
device. Enabling you to manage by exception and make more informed
decisions on the go.
Using Visualiser’s ‘Tooltips’ feature, you can drill down into
more detailed information about an individual’s task, which bay
they are visiting and how many pieces have been picked. Tooltips
also enable you to analyse each bay to see the product description
and number of visits made.
What’s more, its ‘Heatmapping’ facility can show frequently
visited areas, highlight congestion and provide insight to slotting
exercises to improve the layout your warehouse or slotting
requirements.
Providing an interactive, lite version of CLASS, Visualiser will
permit you to review historical data and make better predictions
about the future. In addition, it’s a future-proofed solution, with
ongoing development you will have access to the latest applied

VIEW LIVE REPRESENTATIONS OF YOUR OPERATION
Using a scaled model of your warehouse layout, you will be able
to view each operator’s location and pick status in real-time.
Using live feeds from your warehouse management system (WMS) or
ERP solution, CLASS Visualiser can view your warehouse in either 2D
or 3D, making it quick and easy to see activity without the need to
walk the floor to investigate. Saving time and freeing you up to be
on hand to deal with exceptions.
DRILL DOWN INTO OPERATOR WORKFLOWS
The tooltips feature provides instant updates on how each
operator is performing. By hovering your mouse over each figure,
you can see what product is being picked, the status of each order
and name of the operator as well as time since last activity. If an
operator has been inactive for a certain period, the figure will
turn red. Giving supervisors and managers the ability to reallocate
resource if required.
Tooltips even enable you to analyse each bay to see the number
of visits made and the product(s) stored, further supported by
heatmaps.
IDENTIFY CONGESTION HOTSPOTS & SHORTS
The heatmap will clearly show you how often a bay is being
revisited, using colour banding of your choice. Also, if a short is
registered, the
bay will turn black. This enables more informed decision making
when reviewing your slotting requirements, pick sequence and
layouts.
UTILISE HISTORICAL VISUAL RECORDS FOR INVESTIGATIONS
The solution records all data captured throughout the shift or
week. Providing you with graphical and detailed information to
review shift congestion issues, reoccurring shorts, potential shift
reorganisation requirements and individual performance to help
identify possible training needs.
Using the history analyser, you can also select a particular
date, time and pick zone to replay the pick messages and understand
the root causes of any shift performance issues.

specialists. It has been created to facilitate any WMS or ERP
solution with the requisite messages to feed into it in real-time.
