Dean's Executive Lecture Series At Clark Atlanta University's School of Business Administration, our mission is to provide quality business education by integrating scholarship and business experience in innovative educational programs. An integral component of our comprehensive educational experience is the Dean's Executive Lecture Series. Through this series, students are exposed to the latest ideas and forces that are shaping American and international business from executives who are facing these issues daily.

Inaugurated in 1998, the lecture series exposes our students to senior executives in private and public sector organizations regarding the latest trends, issues and corporate strategies in a global business environment. The insights from executive participants provide significant educational enrichment that complements the in-class curriculum. Meeting the challenges of a global economy is not an easy task, but the students at the School of Business Administration are positioned to face future careers in business management with tremendous anticipation and excitement. With rapid changes in industry, massive consolidations, technological advances, and fiercely competitive markets, we are confident that the lecture series enhances the educational needs of our students to empower them to think, adapt and produce the intellectual leadership required for the new millennium. With over five decades of academic excellence, the School of Business Administration is committed to delivering a comprehensive educational experience and posed to enter the new millennium as a leader in business management education. "The Dean's Executive Lecture Series" is one of our signature vessels for achieving our vision in the new century.

Objectives and Goals Today's business environment requires executives who are capable of seizing opportunities in the global economy. Corporations are challenging academic institutions to develop leaders capable of producing innovative and profitable approaches for grasping the opportunities of today as well as tomorrow. The School of Business has accepted this challenge by remaining on the cutting edge and innovative in the preparation of tomorrow's business leaders. . "The Dean's Executive Lecture Series" host senior level executives for a one-hour presentation primarily targeted to business students "and its alumni with topics ranging from corporate strategy to leadership development. .

The goal of the lecture series is to expose students and the School's stakeholders to senior-level executives, and enlighten them about the leadership style and responsibilities of some of the nation's most important and influential people. A secondary goal is to provide these same executives with an opportunity to talk about their company's culture and commitment to a diverse workforce. Finally, the executive participants have the opportunity to discuss the latest business issues and opportunities with some diverse and thought provoking students in the discipline of business.
