Each period will be of 50 minutes duration. Each semester will be of 32 weeks. Effective teaching will be atleast 25 weeks. Remaining periods will be utilized for revision, etc. SI system of units shall be used in each subject. As for as possible Building Material and Civil Engg. Lab.-I must be allotted to same teacher. Four weeks structured and supervised, branch specific, task oriented industrial/field exposure to be organised during summer vacation. Student will submit a report. Thre will be 55 marks for this exposure. 40 marks will be awarded by project examiner in the III Yr. and 15 Marks by Internal Examiner. Field visit and extension lectures are to be organised and manued well in advance at institute level as per need
