The majestic, historical building of the Estonian National Opera is located in the very centre of Tallinn. Renovated in 2006, it now has six different halls, all with modern facilities. 6Convention Venues

Completed in 1980, the unique Conference and Concert Centre Linnahall is well worth visiting for its unmatched exterior - reminiscent of not just the old bastions surrounding Tallinn’s medieval town, but also of ancient Mayan pyramids. Its architects, R. Altmäe and R. Karp, were awarded the President of the International Union of Architects’ grand prize and gold medal in 1983. The centre’s seaside location, its proximity to the ferry terminal, and the fact that it’s a five minutes walk from Old Town make it a popular site. It’s Main Concert and Conference Hall is a prime venue for major events including festivals, theatrical performances, concerts, fashion shows, conventions, public meetings, sports events, film showings, and the like. At the moment the centre is under renovation and will be opened in 2010. All capacities are estimated.

The Tallinn Song Festival Grounds is a place of pivotal importance to Estonian culture as the centre of the nation’s 1980s independence movement and home to the National Song Festival. Newly renovated rooms in its unique Song Arch frequently play host to banquets, conferences, exhibitions and concerts. The area’s layout makes it ideal for combining entertainment with educational/professional events, and its 42 m Light Tower has a magnificent view of the bay and city as a whole.

Eesti Kontsert manages the Estonia Concert Hall, the largest multi-purpose concert hall in Tallinn. The approximately 500m² hall has unlimited potential for concerts, and its removable chair system allows the symphony space to be transformed into an ideal venue for conferences, fashion shows, intimate chamber events, gala events or even pop concerts. In the past it has hosted the Estonian Presidential Ball, as well as numerous international conferences, song contests, anniversaries, graduation festivities, seminars and presentations. The Concert Hall’s large foyers are often used as an art exhibition area.

The House of the Brotherhood of Black Heads, an elaborate, centuries-old guild hall, boasts some of the most stunning architecture in Tallinn’s Old Town. The most valuable, spectacular rooms in the building are the White Hall (1532), which was the first renaissance-style hall in Tallinn, and the two-naved, gothic St. Olaf´s Hall. Throughout its long and varied history, the guild has generated mysterious legends about saints, soldiers and adventurers, which have given names to the hall’s various rooms.
