NOTE

1 Over-commit technology is not supported for any virtual appliance In the case of VMware this means that 100 of memory must be reserved

2 Fixed storage is required Dynamically-expanding storage is not supported

3 Licensing relies on appliance MAC addresses and UUIDs remaining intact VM migrations which change these identifiers (such as storage vMotion with default vmx settings or CloudStack orchestration move between XenServer hosts) will invalidate the license thus limiting or disabling the appliance operation until a new license can be applied

25 Virtual Machine Options

During installation you can choose one of four VM specification configuration options Below are the server requirements for each option

24 Supported Hypervisors

The COI Collector is only supported in a Virtual environment on the hypervisors listed in the table below

Table 2 - Supported Hypervisors

Hypervisor Type Hypervisor Version Tools Supported Deployment Method

VMware 41 51 55 VMware Tools ISO

XenServer 56 61 62 XenTools ISO

Windows Server Hyper-V 2008 R2 SP 1 2012 2012 R2 TBD ISO

KVM Red Hat CentOS 62+ Ubuntu 12+

NA ISO

25 Virtual Machine Options

During installation you can choose one of four VM specification configuration options Below are the server requirements for each option
