She was notified by Faith Lutheran in early June that she was the only candidate on the Call List and when their congregation would meet in Voting Assembly on July 11. Since she was the only candidate that would be considered for the call, she had been prayerfully considering this potential call since June 1. Following Faith's Voting Assembly, Mrs. Fiala was led to accept the call. Her last day in the office at St. John will be Friday, July 30. See below for details on a farewell for Amber. We are grateful for Mrs. Fiala’s Christian leadership, caring heart, and love for the students and families of St. John Lutheran School over the past seven years. God has used her, along with the rest of our school staff, to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with the children entrusted to St. John School. The Lord will use her gifts to His glory through her call to Faith Lutheran in Lincoln. Sheila Psencik Accepts the Call as Interim Principal Upon notification from Mrs. Fiala that she had accepted a call to serve in a different school ministry, the Coordinating Council approved an Interim-Principal Search Committee to seek candidates and issue a one-year interim principal
