:Incident Disposition Comments : Ofc dispatched to Valero, 61 N. Bridge St. ref. to a theft of lottery tickets. Upon arrival, ofc contacted the Manag

Ralph Shaw. He advised between the hours of 0330-0340 (7-15-13) a subject entered the business and stole (7) Ohio lottery scratch off tickets. Hadvised the clerk on duty at the time was at the rear of the store mopping and never witnessed the incident. Mr Shaw advised the book# on the ticket

(125030040) and the ticket range is (193-199) -7 tickets. Mr Shaw also advised he wants the subject barred from the property if located. Ofc looked

the video which shows a w/m approx. 6''2 , 250 lbs with short brown hair and a goatee wearing blue shorts and a white shirt enter the business. T

subject walks up to the counter and removes lottery tickets from the container which is located on the counter and places the ticketsin his pocket. T

clerk then walks up to the counter and the subject makes a purchase then exits the store. Ofc received video and pictures of the suspect. Ofc showed th

pictures to Ofc C. Cox (CPD) who was able to ID the subject as being Aaron Smith. Ofc will attempt to locate Mr Smith and question him about

theft. The video was placed in the video drawer. Investigation continues.

got up from her chair she could not stand on her own and almost fell. When Ofc contacted Lisa Ofc noted she had a very strong odor of an alcohol

everage on or about her person. She had slurred speech to the point Ofc could not understand her when she talked and also had glassy blood shot ey

For her safety and the safety of others Ofc arrested Lisa for Disorderly Intoxication. While in Ofc cruiser Ofc advised her of her Miranda Rights whi

she notified Ofc she did not understand. Ofc asked no further questions. Lisa later stated of her own free will that she was just drinking coffee and h

drank earlier and was not driving. Ofc noted that Lisa had parked her car across the entrance to the parking lot at 47 N Bridge blocking the sidew

with the back end of her silver 2000 Cadillac in the street. Best towing was dispatched to the scene to tow the vehicle. Ofc contacted Cindy w

stated she observed Lisa pull into the lot almost hitting her motorcycle. She advised that Lisa then walked into the store where Cindy attempted occupy her and keep her from leaving due to her intoxicated state until Police arrived. Ofc transported Lisa to the RCJ where she was issued M

Citation 09 4189 charging Disorderly Intoxication with a court date of 7/26/2013. Lisa was left in the custody of the jail staff until sober.

officer was dispatched to 57 E Main St in ref to a Burglary. Officer arrived on scene and made contact with Nick Jenison who advised someone h

stolen his lap top from his apartment. Mr. Jenison advised he left this morning and when he returned he found the lap top missing. Mr. Jenison advise

his roommate, Carlin McMahon, left the apartment after he did and when Mr. Jenison spoke with him, Mr. McMahon advised he locked up before

left. Mr. Jenison advised he found a window in his bedroom opened and it was closed when he left. Mr. Jenison also advised the charger was hide in t

home under the entertainment center and he found it was also missing. Mr. Jenison advised when he called the police Mr. McMahon advised he w

leaving and would be back. Mr. Jenison advised he asked Mr. McMahon to stay at that home but he refused and left. Mr. Jenison advised the door of th

home was locked when he came home and he got there before Mr. McMahon. Mr. Jenison advised there were no signs of forced entry into the hom

Mr. Jenison advised he did not have the serial number at this time, but advised he had the "Cloud" system and he could contact Apple and they cou

locate the lap top. Mr. Jenison advised he would get the serial number and also get the insurance company name for his renters insurance. Officer w

unable to contact Mr. McMahon at this time and also could not find any information on Mr. McMahon in records or in the State of Ohio data bas

on scene and made contact with Stephen Ragland, who advised someone had broke into his home while he was gone and stole one of his guns. M

Ragland advised he left this afternoon and went out of town and when he returned he found his rear door and the glass busted out and his Glock w

stolen from inside the home. Mr. Ragland advised he just purchased the gun a couple of days ago and had not had a chance to write down the ser

number but advised he would contact the store where it was purchased and get the serial number from them. Mr. Ragland showed this officer the do

where the glass was busted out and Mr. Ragland pointed out the glass was cleaned up and placed in the trash can by someone. Officer photographed th

damage and attempted to locate fingerprints from the glass but was not able to locate any fingerprints on the glass. Mr. Ragland advised there w

nothing else missing from the home at this time but if he found anything else missing he would contact this department. Mr. Ragland advised there w

another gun beside the one that was taken but he was left behind. Mr. Ragland also advised he spoke with his neighbors prior to officer arriving and none saw or heard anything. Officer has nothing further at this time.

around her home on July 1st, 2013 and caused damage to one of her windows. Ms. Thomas advised she did not call earlier because she wanted to t

the damage so she wanted to file a report. Ms. Thomas advised no one was home when the damage was caused. Ms. Thomas advised she has hom

appeared to be someone trying to force open the window from outside. Officer spoke with a neighbor, Eda Goshay, who advised she remember

seeing a white male wearing a Red Shirt, Black Shorts and Red Hat carring a back pack looking around the home of Ms. Thomas. Ms. Goshay advised sh

saw the male go around the back of the home then she did not see him again. No one else in the neighborhood saw anyone that day and officer has
