It is with great pleasure and honor that we extend this invitation to you to participate in the

4th Black Belt World Canadian Taekwondo Championship Festival to be held on June 24th,

2018 at Hershey Centre: http://www.gotyoulooking.com/1hershey/mht.html.

This is a fully sanctioned Taekwondo Ontario (TO) competition event for World Taekwondo

(WT) style Taekwondo. All Ontario competitors and coaches must be current 2017-2018

members of the TO. $35 TO Color Belt/Black Belt Membership Insurance is mandatory for all

non-Ontario athletes. High Performance Kyorugi (“sparring”) athletes must submit the TO

Medical Declaration Form together with the Competitor Registration Form and payment.

All athletes and coaches must register their athletes and coaches online by the Registration

Deadline: Saturday, June 9th, 2018. Registration is only complete upon receiving payment.

Coaches must be Kukkiwon holders and will receive 1 FREE PASS per school. All submitted coaches will receive one free overnight stay for every 20-early bird registered competitors and will be referred to as “VIP Coach”.

All registered International Referees (IR) will receive one free overnight stay, in addition, will be invited along with the VIP Coaches and VIP Guests to a 19+ Invitation Only VIP Pre-Tournament Party on Saturday evening. VIP Invitations will be provided by Master Koo leading up to Saturday, June 23rd, 2018.

This will be an all-day event as it promises to be an exciting and action-packed competition.

We will also be inviting a great number of athletes from the neighboring provinces; the USA

and several Pan American nations. We will be hosting a Festival in conjunction with the

tournament, showcasing a variety of family-oriented activities. Draws will be held and prizes

will be awarded to the lucky winners throughout the day.

It is our goal to provide you with the best experience as we share our passion for the love of

Taekwondo. We will be welcoming guest celebrity stars from film & television, amongst other

special guests from the movie industry. We would like to encourage the athletes to challenge

their skills through the competitive sport, but also share the spirit of Taekwondo.

Competitors who do not comply or have full required equipment will not be permitted to

compete due to safety reasons.

Traditional Poomsae • Must wear WT-style v-neck WHITE dobok or approved WT y-neck Poomsae dobok of

age appropriate color and belt

• Ages 4 & up

• Color Belts – Required Kukkiwon-approved Tae Geuk Poomsae

• Black Belts – Required Kukkiwon-approved Black Belt Poomsae

• Division 1: 1st Dan / Division 2: 2nd Dan / Division 3: 3rd Dan & higher

Traditional Kyorugi • Must wear WT-style v-neck WHITE dobok and belt

• Age & Weight divisions will be applied appropriately

• Manual Electronic Scoring System will be used for all divisions

• 2 Rounds of 1 Minute (30 seconds break)

COACH’S REGISTRATION FORM Each Taekwondo school participating at the 4th Black Belt World Canadian Taekwondo Championship Festival will receive one free coach’s pass. All submitted coaches must be Black Belts registered with Kukkiwon and will receive one free overnight stay on Saturday, June 23rd or Sunday, June 24th, for every 20-early bird registered competitors, and will be referred to as “VIP Coach”. VIP Coaches are invited to a 19+ Invitation Only VIP Party on Saturday evening, June 23rd. More information and private invitations will be provided leading up to the pre-tournament party.
