International Collaboration

Collaborative ProjectsThe environmental study visit co-organised with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) - China Educational Technology Initiative is one of the examples. During the visit, 7 MIT students and 16 THEi students worked on a collaborative project to assess the environmental impact of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Project.

Overseas Exchange

At THEi, we aim to take our students into the future by offering holistic learning and global exposure. We establish partnerships with outstanding institutions across the globe and local industry partners to broaden the student experience.

8 9

We offer a range of overseas exchange opportunities to students, to equip them with global awareness and understanding of other cultures. We have formed partnerships with various universities around the world including Germany, France, United States, Japan and Korea.

I joined an exchange programme to Bauhaus, a time-honoured design school in Germany. With the introduction to advanced technologies in multi-media marketing, I was equipped with the latest industry knowledge and now I have joined a renowned mobile advertising agency and continue to hone my design strengths. ”

Staying under the same roof with MIT students allowed me to understand more about the culture of the U.S. colleges. I also learnt the analytical skills and creative thinking in different cultures.

Collaborating with different institutions and enhancing our students’ knowledge and skills is one of THEi’s missions.

Work-Integrated Learning

Aiming at producing work-ready degree graduates, we always emphasise the importance of practical training and its connection with classroom theories and workplace applications.

We provide students with Work-Integrated Learning through our strong networks with more than 300 local industry partners, facilitating knowledge and skill application in a real work setting and developing students’ competencies for future employment.

International PartnershipsNew partnerships have been forged with renowned national and global institutions. For instance, THEi and University of Gloucestershire (UoG) entered into a partnership to offer scholarships for THEi graduates to pursue master degrees at UoG. UoG’s landscape programme is ranked number 2 in the UK.
