The event features a music stage, full beverage bar, vendors and activities for the whole family.

NOSH: CULINARY SHOWCASESATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2018 | ATTENDANCE: 300+ PEOPLE Culinary showcase features the top African and African-American Caterers and Executive Chefs. There are a plethora of outstanding African and African-American chefs and caterers without a restaurant who deserve to have their cuisine highlighted during the campaign.

AROMA: WOMEN IN CULINARY PANEL DISCUSSION SEPTEMBER 2018 | ATTENDANCE: 100+ PEOPLEAroma, is the educational and professional development event of Black Restaurant Week. Hosts will moderate a panel of leading women in the culinary industry, who will share their knowledge about industry operations, marketing, and raising capital.

VENDOR POLICIES AND REGULATIONSEVENT POLICIES

• Black Restaurant Week will assign vendor spaces based on the best interests of the event as a whole. While vendors may have a preference in location, this location is subject to change at the discretion of the Black Restaurant Week. Black Restaurant Week will consider the various needs of particular vendors and accommodate them to the extent possible, particularly for the need for access to electricity.

• While operating at the event, vendors must follow all local, county, state, and federal regulations for handling, selling and distributing food.

• Vendors must represent their products in honest and non-deceptive manner at all times, both in written form on signs and in oral form during conversation.

• Vendors must keep their area and their equipment in a clean, safe, and hazard-free condition. At the end of the event, each vendor must leave their selling area clean, with all trash removed.

• Vendors must conduct themselves in a courteous and professional manner. Vendors must treat all customers, staff and volunteers of the event, and fellow vendors with respect at all times.

• Vendors must be set up and additional vehicles removed from the event area at least 45 minutes prior to the start of the event. Vendors must remain set up until the close of the event, even if they have sold out.

• Vendor Fee is $150 Payment is due three (3) days before the event.

• While operating at the event, vendors must follow all local, county, state, and federal regulations for handling, and distributing food.

• No storage space for vendors is available at the market site.

• Vendors will determine their own pricing.

• Nosh and Aroma vendor space is a selling is a 6ft wide table.

• Soundbites vendor space is a selling area 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep.

• Soundbites vendors should be prepared for all kinds of weather.
